We invite you to Contemporar for the finissage of the final exhibition of the Cluj in Residency program, an event where you’ll have the chance to meet the artists and exhibition organizers to discuss the works and the processes behind them. The event includes a guided tour offering deeper insight into the development of each project, and the evening will continue with Tiny Classic Sessions (Station Theatre / Musical).

The event proposes a return to classical art through the lied, the most intimate form of opera music, where the dialogue between voice and piano explores universal feelings such as vulnerability, loneliness, the search for meaning, love, and its absence. The program includes lieder by Robert Schumann, Alfred Alessandrescu, Nicolae Bretan, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and others.

Through this look back into the past, we aim to rediscover the expressive and human value of this genre and to understand what we can carry forward into our contemporary artistic practice.

The event is part of the GlamOPERA project, developed by Adonis Tanța within the Cluj in Residency program, organized by the Cluj Cultural Centre.
