The band Alone at Parties celebrates the release of their EP “Petals” with a concert in Cluj, at Contemporar, on November 11th. The concert is part of the opening of the final exhibition of the Cluj in Residence program, organized by the Cluj Cultural Centre.

The EP explores sonic directions that differ from the band’s debut album (which features indie, folk, and bossa influences), incorporating elements of punk, lo-fi, and electronic beats.

Its themes touch on pop-psychology discourse and self-help culture, isolation, the gradual fading of friendships, and impermanence.

Alone at Parties consists of Andrei, Casiana, Florin, Frankie, and Lazăr.
